Monthly Potluck/Open House/KUMBAYAWESOME this Saturday (9/21) at 5:30
Come on down to the Seattle Catholic Worker (2910 20th Ave S) for an end-of-summer potluck, followed by a brief “open house” and night of creative expression! In addition to table fellowship and witnessing to beautiful creative expression, we’ll take this opportunity to discuss the future of our community as we move to a new property we’re currently in the process of purchasing. If you want to be a part of and support ministry of hospitality, solidarity, and community building as we move deeper into our calling, please join us if you are able!.
The night will start at 5:30 with a potluck, and we’ll eat and visit until 7pm, by which time everyone interested should be there, when we will talk through our impending move and explore the opportunities that this affords us as a community. After this discussion, we’ll transition into our normal KUMBAYAWESOME framework for sharing creative expressions. We invite anyone and everyone to bring something to play, something to sing, something to read, or something else to share so that we can take joy in them together.
Hope to see you there! Here’s a link to the the Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/159450594258779/
